"Phenomenal hotel!! From the moment I walked in my room, I knew that this would be preferred choice for my next Chicago area visit. Great staff, especially the restaurant staff!! Beautiful property. Close to everything, including train!! Only cons: If you book through a 3rd party app (Expedia), let them know immediately or wake up to daily charges. "The COOLEST place to stay. Quiet, has everything you could ever possibly need, and gives you the opportunity to meet new people! Ray has an incredible collection of pretty much everything, so you never get bored of looking around. The staff were all so welcoming, and made us feel taken care of every step of the way. The bed was so comfortable and we had all the space and accommodations we needed! Thank you Ray’s, we hope to see you all again when we’re next in Chicago! "

"I recently stayed at The Villa in the Euro Room, and it was such a lovely experience. The mansion was incredibly clean and beautifully styled, with so many charming details to admire. I loved the vibe and the thoughtful touches, like the food available...our panini was delicious! We also enjoyed a show at The Vic and returned to unwind with some Italian wine. The shower was stunning, and everything was well-labeled and convenient. The next day, we relaxed in the jacuzzi, and the breakfast was...

"Cute rooms, comfy bed, nice mini bar. Bathroom a little small and dated- carpet and furniture a little stale and uncomfortable. But cute baseball/ Cub decor. No breakfast and no bar. "

"Went to a show at the Salt Shed and this was an easy 10 minute walk to the venue. Valet parking is $45 (so $50/55 with tip), but we used Spot Hero to find a nearby garage for $15 overnight parking. The breakfast was amazing; they typically have certified gluten-free options, but were out during our stay. However, our child with celiac was able to eat a yogurt bowl with fruit. Great experience overall!!! Will totally be staying again next time we go to a show at the Salt Shed."
