"ResidHotel Prado is a good budget option. I’ve stayed here several times. The beds are a little tired but I like the fact that the rooms have kitchenettes, bathrooms are renovated nicely with great water pressure for the showers. I enjoy it’s location, it’s secure, the neighborhood is safe with several public transit options to get around the city and bus connection to all of the beaches, and it’s a quieter option than staying in the center which is easy to get to on foot, tram or metro."

"The staff cleaned our room and refreshed our towels only once during our 9-night stay. We had to ask for some toilet paper rolls every few days. Our room and bed were large and we even had a small kitchenette which was nice. The staff is friendly and helpful."

"I loved the location, the cleanliness and the morning breakfast. The room halls are under renovation, but this was minor. I also felt a bit like a thief when I began my (paid for) breakfast. They could be more charming with a greeting when I arrived, instead of an interrogation. Otherwise, I enjoyed my experience. "

"We stayed here because we had a very early morning train to Paris and the location was extremely convenient, right across the street. Perhaps not the nicest area of the city, but the hotel had everything we expected. The front desk staff were kind and helpful even packing some breakfast for us to go since we wereeaving before the continental breakfast began. "

"Not really a 5 star hotel. The main restaurant was fully booked the first night we were there and closed the next two nights. The bar menu was good, but not available on one night. One of our rooms experienced a flood in the shower where the drain was clogged with an incredible amount of hair. Water actually leaked into the next room. No bellman, and lack of expected 5 star service. Other than that, the rooms were comfortable and the location was good. "
