"I recommend this property enthusiastically! Definitely begin your day with the the breakfast buffet. The eggs were the creamiest I have ever had, the ham, exquisite, and the bakery goods come in fresh every morning. You may also boil eggs, have cereal, yogurt, fruit, cheeses, bacon, and nuts. They always have a chocolate cake and a pistachio almond cake. I especially liked the brioche rolls and the croissants. "Beautifully designed hotel, with friendly staff and a vibrant (and not too touristy) neighbourhood. I've stayed in Le Ballu before and think it's now become where I most like to stay in Paris. It's very walkable to, for example, Opera or Montmartre and has a direct metro line to the Notre Dame area, so it's very well located while also being a bit away from the tourist crush. The rooms are absolutely beautiful - an oasis of calm."

"I’ve been to this hotel twice- and it never fails me. The rooms are generous compared to some Parisian hotels. It is in a great location- that has many locals, restaurants, bakeries, small boutiques. The metro is a quick few minute walk. You can enjoy a leisurely walk to the Sacre Cuore, the Louvre. I could stay anywhere, but I think I will always come back to this place."

#market This is the Old Paris that I frequent to every time that I visit Paris. This shot was taken at the square where a lot of struggling artists are selling their crafted masterpieces to tourists that stroll along the streets of Montmartre. It has changed over the years. Food and Beverage establishments have set up their businesses right at the middle of the square which leaves the poor artists only the sidewalk space to utilise and prop up their works of art.
