"This is a nice old hotel. They even upgraded our room for no reason. It is an old building, that’s part of the charm, but very well maintained and up to date furnishings. There’s a cozy restaurant down stairs and the grilled fish was very tasty."

"The Station House was in many ways ideal. The room was roomy and well furnished, the access to the extra communal room where we could sit and make tea and coffee and keep fresh milk and food in a fridge was excellent. Two small things let it down. The reception was across the road in the associated hotel. Once in the hotel the notice said the reception was upstairs but there was no obvious reception desk up there. "Very well located, close to the centre of Killin and the various places of interest. Plenty of parking, quiet setting. Comfortable lounge area, bar and restaurant. Room was well stocked with tea, coffee and water as well as shower wash and hand soap. Evening food has plenty of choice and very good. I would advise booking as the restaurant got really busy when we were there. Good choice of breakfast which was a buffet style. Staff were really good, welcoming and really helpful"

The owners are wonderful people who prepared a 5-star breakfast for our family and complemented it with friendly conversation. "Cheap attic room. Unfortunately TV in neighbouring room boomed all night . We phoned the assistance number and the parson who answered said she would sort it out (she was off site). Nothing was done all night . We and other guests tried to get someone in room to respond by banging loudly at 4am. We assumed either dead or heavily intoxicated . "A very welcoming hotel with a wonderful view of the Loch, which our bedroom looked out on. All in all an excellent place to stay though I felt the full Scottish breakfast a little pricey at an additional £18.99 Can certainly recommend though."
