"Before our arrival, we only received Expedia confirmation, which did not include direct contact info with owner. I messaged owner via Expedia app, the day before but no reply. We were supposed to receive check in instructions day(s) before. We arrived extra early to find the apartment and tried calling owner. Luckily, owner understood we were early and at apartment, so sent her husband to greet us. He spoke enough english to explain things and gave us tips on seeing Matera. Thank goodness...

"Everything was very clean! The owners thought of everything. The rooms were very comfortable. Parking on site was great. We were offered breakfast for a small fee and it was very good. There are even espresso machines in the rooms! The owners are very lovely. I would definitely stay here again. Easy to drive into town."

"The owners, Gianna and Mimmo, are wonderful hosts—so kind and a pleasure to chat with. They gave us excellent restaurant recommendations and even gave us a ride into town, which was such a thoughtful touch. Breakfast was delicious, the grounds are spacious and beautifully kept, and the pool made for a very relaxing stay. There are also massages available on the property, which added to the experience. Overall, superb quality and highly recommended for a peaceful countryside getaway."
