Havana is generally a safe city but they still had a security guard at the entrance overnight which is comforting as a solo traveler. "From the time my 4 year old son and I arrived everyone was very accommodating, professional and pleasant to interact with. Their airport shuttle service was A1 and Rene', Alejandro, Manny, the owner, and a wonderful lady (whom I didn't get her name) were great! The grounds were well kept and it is very clean. I left my Airpods Pro there when I checked out and Rene' reached out to me to let me know and we found a solution to get them to me. My son turned 4 the day after we arrived and they surprised us both by bringing him a piece of cake during breakfast, with a candle and sang happy birthday! I highly recommend Elegancia and will stay there again when I come to Cuba. "
