"The bar staff seemed stressed so we left and found a nice pub down the street. The rest of the staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and very comfortable, the beds were great and the pillows were neither too flat or too dense. The room didn't reek of Fabreeze so that was wonderful. I would definitely stay here again. "

"Lovely room, but no mirror in the bedroom to be able to dry my hair. I told the receptionist and she said they were working on that. I asked for a sandwich for dinner to take to my room, but the chef said no so I had to order from the menu. So only a couple of little niggles, but apart from that it was a great hotel and I would definitely book again."

"The hotel is good but the internet isn’t good in the bedrooms and the tv keep going on and off and led on the kettle was Fred and was dangerous apart from that it was ok the restaurant was good but a bit expensive and we went down later on for something light to eat at the bar but they were not light snacks to eat apart from dinners"

"Interesting place to stay. Front desk was helpful. Was looking forward to dinner but was disappointed. Drinks took over 1/2 hour to receive and were never once asked again if we wanted any more drinks. An hour and a half before we received our food. After finishing food we were left waiting half an hour. Would have ordered dessert and more drinks if offered the chance. 2 hour ordeal after a long travel day was very frustrating. Their loss as we opted to eat elsewhere the rest of our stay."
