Our stay was excellent at this hotel, everything was clean and functioning, the service was excellent the only minus thing was the breakfast. It has everything for a standard continental breakfast but most of the things were over cooked.

Great for a Fig Tree Bay visit

Good location. Clean rooms. Good AC. Nice view. Could have better breakfast and more attention at breakfast. Eveything was always out and took a little time to refill. No variation at breakfast either. Quick simple walk to the beach. All the best restaurants just outside the hotel.

We'd definitely stay there again.

We had a fantastic family holiday at the Alva. It's in a great position central to all the many many restaurants ( with fantastic food and options), bars and shops. The rooms were very spacious, comfortable and cleaned every day with fresh towels. The kitchen area is basic but funtional with an under counter fridge, toaster, kettle and a two pan electric hob. The air conditioning serves the room very well. The pool area is good with a small bar. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. And it's literally a 2 or 3 minute walk to the beach. The resort was pretty busy but it's a family resort so no idiots and wasn't very expensive to dine out (which we did every night). We thought it was cheaper than the canaries and some of the Greek island resorts we've been to. So yeah, all in all it was perfect for us and would 100% stay there again if we were doing Cyprus.

Great value

Good space with lots of room. Living area has separate AC and two couches, which were okay but not super comfortable. Deck with couple chairs and table, place to hang clothes, was a good size and we overlooked the pool. Bedroom had two singles pushed together with separate sheets but bed was comfortable and room had separate AC and large closet. Kitchen fridge was a little small. Had most kitchen necessities but not alot of extras. Cleaning service was good and shower had good water pressure and temperature. Laundry -washer and dryer-unit available for additional charge in basement-4 euros each wash- and soap available at front desk. Good parking in back area. Close to fig tree and other beaches along the coast- less than 5 minutes to closest beach. Nice area very walkable to many restaurants. Recommend Sonja Grill. Great value

Exceptional! Best hotel in Protaras! Excellent location. Room is fantastic with good kitchen equipment, quiet air con and good Wi-Fi. House keeping is brilliant and friendly and front desk very helpful. I cannot find fault with this hotel! Highly recommended and will return.

Tyvärr besvikna.

Vi har bott tidigare på Alva och varit jättenöjda. Tyvärr fick vi en gammal o sliten lägenhet denna gången som gjorde oss väldigt besvikna. Många solstolar vid poolen var trasiga. Tråkigt när vi bokat 14 dagar. Personalen i receptionen var mycket trevliga som de alltid varit. Städerskorna o annan personal likaså.
