"I was traveling across country and booked the Days Inn Laramie for one night as I passed through the area based on its decent reviews.
When I arrived at the property, I checked in without issue and I went to the room that was assigned to me.
When I open the door, an overwhelming smell of paint fumes about knocked me to the ground.
I returned to the front desk to ask them to issue a different room and the front desk staff told me “ it wouldn’t make any difference which room we assigned, we just had all rooms repainted within the last week.”
Please note that there was NO information or announcement on their website that the hotel was under renovation when I booked the reservation in good faith.
I tried to help them understand my extreme sensitivity to chemical fumes and gently asked for a refund so I could book a different hotel.
They absolutely refused and even laughed at me at one point in their refusal to help my situation.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, and I would especially like to mention the rudeness of the staff and complete lack of caring of the manager to help me at all. They’ve kept every penny of my money and sent me on my way. Just Shameful.

"It was really nice and clean and the staff was super friendly! There isn’t breakfast but Perkins is attached to the building and you get a 10% discount. We didn’t eat there though as we had a morning appointment we had to get to at 8am and it would’ve taken too long to eat. But the stay was great!! "
"Not a bad place. Def clean and put together. Pool was cold ands maybe too much chlorine as it was burning the eyes. Breakfast was ok but short on some supplies but it has many options to offer. Challenging to find stairs but elevator was functional and easy to get to."
"The breakfast was great. The Staff was awesome. The pool was disappointing for the kids. It was very cold. They got in, but were shivering so bad we made them get out."
"Maybe because we are used to staying at Hiltons, Marriott’s etc… this place is nowhere near the quality but for the price I can’t complain.
One thing, their sheets are super soft and amazing. Comfy bed overall.
One thing, our room smelled musty which was the beginning of what turned me off. "
