We expected a true 5-star experience but were very disappointed. The staff is kind and smiling, but that’s where the positives end.
At check-in, we were asked to pay a significant deposit. At checkout, the items we consumed were not deducted from that deposit — we had to pay everything again on top. One week later, we are still waiting for the refund. Not acceptable for a supposed 5-star hotel.
We were asked what time we wanted housekeeping (surprising for a luxury property). We said 3 PM, yet the next morning we were woken up at 10 AM. Walls are paper-thin, so expect noise from neighboring rooms too.
Half of the menu items were unavailable — vegetarian options and certain drinks shown on menu simply “not available.” Food choice is limited, with nothing healthy. The terrace area with the nice couches shown online was half closed without explanation. Sun beds have no proper mattresses, uncomfortable for a full day.
The beach is very small and clearly artificial — far from what the pictures suggest.
On our last day, we were told there was no guaranteed airport transfer due to “no driver available.” After insisting, a solution suddenly appeared. We left five days earlier than planned, and no one from staff bothered to ask
us why!!
Clearly not a real 5-star property. Manage your expectations.
