"At first we thought it was fairly clean but when I went to make breakfast I found a frying pan in the cupboard with rice and grease still on it. There is no salt or pepper or anything to make cooking a little easier while traveling. We had two big towels for 5 people. The master bedroom is on the main road and the sound of traffic is quite loud. It was expensive for what it is."

"The gentleman who checked me in went over and above to change my room to a ground floor room as I couldn't manage the stairs after surgery. I was able to park outside my room which was helpful as I needed to leave by 4am to catch my 5am ferry."

"We had an amazing 2-night stay at the Bayside Resort in Parksville! The resort is beautiful, the rooms were spotless, fresh, and incredibly comfortable, and the staff provided exceptional service from start to finish. We loved relaxing on the outdoor patio, and as someone who eats gluten-free, I really appreciated all the great options at the restaurant. It was also wonderful that the resort is so dog-friendly. We would absolutely stay here again!"

"The tile work in the bathroom needed fixing. To see all that water running behind the broken tiles kind of makes me think how costly is that repair going to be when the mold starts in."

"The cutest stay in Qualicum Beach, what a hidden gem! I’m so happy we found this on Expedia, it was the perfect stop for our group. We had breakfast at the restaurant, a drink at the bar and both were great, especially the customer service. Beautifully remodeled rooms with an incredible view of the water across the street, we will be back!"
