The staff were excellent—friendly, courteous, and very helpful. The Jelapeng restaurant’s à la carte menu was excellent. The dishes were flavorful and consistently served hot, clearly prepared fresh upon ordering. Breakfast was fresh, but the variety was limited. It would be great to have more options. For example, the fruits were consistently only watermelon and pineapple. A handheld bidet spray is not available in the toilet. Instead, there is a water hose with a wall-mounted valve. For guests who do not use toilet paper, managing the water flow after use can be challenging.

The Adya hotel is 3km from the ferry terminal. Most staff do not speak english so communication difficult. Several things broken in room, ac leaking, found a dead bat on the floor which reinforces the cleaning issues. I seen someone else commneted about bats in the room and thoight it obsurd but then experienced it also. Obviously they get in when windows and doors are left open. Reception staff never acknowlege you after checking in and totally ignore your presence when passing thereafter. Things happen slowly if at all in this aging hotel that is over due a refurbishment. Pool is nice although few sunbeds for the 200+ rooms. Towels were often not available around the pool and sunbeds didnt have materass making them uncomfortable. Many local restaurants nearby and a mall within walking distance.

I had the pleasure of staying here for 3 night's and I must say it was one of the best stays that I have had in Malaysia. All the staff were amazing, attentive, always smiling and went the extra mile to make everyone feel comfortable. I am already planning a return trip this time with my family. Great hotel, amazing staff and outstanding views from the higher floors where I was located. A very eclectic mix of guests who greeted one another and were always smiling. Keep up the good work all at the hotel.

Nice hotel for a vacation

Nice family hotel for a vacation in Langkawi. Staff were wonderful. Breakfast had good food choices. Booked two rooms, the safe didnt work in one room. Only downside was there was no exhaust in the bathrooms and the smell would linger for hours.

The breakfast served were delicious. Staff were all very friendly, polite and helpful. The hotel was clean and decent. It was awesome that they provide a free shuttle service to the mosque for Friday prayers. However, for a 4 stars hotel, what’s lacking is the daily supply of mineral water bottles for the guests, tooth brush and tooth paste and box of tissue was only given to us on the second last day of our five nights stay.

First trip to Langkawi and were looking for a property within walking distance to restaurants. Didnt realize when we booked that it was a dry hotel (no alcohol). Rooms were a good size and relatively comfortable but the carpets were very dirty! Had to extend our stay by 1 day and had an unpleasant experince when checking out as we were charged more than quoted. My fault for not taking a picture of the price the clerk wrote down. Live and learn.

The external decoration of the hotel is much elegant and beautiful than any other hotels at the neighbourhood. I was a bit disappointed of the loose tapwater of the basin and the loose toilet cover in the toilet.They should be regularly checked and fixed before allowing guests to check into the room. It will be good to provide an extra clean toilet roll and a king size bed. Otherwise, the service of the hotel and staffs are good. They allows me to heat up my leftover food in their kitchen without charge me. The staffs are friendly and polite. They understand English. I can easily get my toiletries and snacks from the nearby mini marts and shopping mall for food. There are also walkable seafood restaurants by the streets and 24hours KFC. The location also easy for Grab transport to pick us up👍👍👍
