"I definitely recommend Black Pearl if you are staying at downtown Reykjavik. It's walkable to food, shopping and Bus Stop #4 for tour pickups. The rooms are clean, the beds are very comfortable1 All the staff people are awesome! It will be my place to stay whenever I come back to Iceland in the future !!"

"Helpful staff. They would go the extra step. Very clean hotel and great location. Cool bar and lobby. Loved the room decor and setup. Only small gripe was lowest volume on TV was too loud. I tried to go lower, but volume would go silent. Otherwise, a great stay and I would stay again! "

"Great location - lots of restaurants and sights within easy walking distance. Very clean rooms and common areas. Staff responded quickly to inquiries. I stayed here on two separate occasions."
"We stayed just one night at 101 Local since our tour started the next day. This is an excellent small hotel ideally situated for walking to downtown dining and harbor. The room we booked was very small but we did choose the cheapest option. Clean and functional with a popular dining and bar area. If staying for more nights, ensure your room size meets your needs. "

"Best location. You can walk to great restaurants and shopping. Luggage storage was very convenient. Included breakfast was sufficient to get you through to lunch. Front office staff were very nice and helpful with our questions, directions, etc. I highly recommend this hotel"
"It was not 3 beds that the pictures showed.
Twin bed and sofa. Workt for us because we were 2 grownup and one child but had preferred 3 beds.
Close to everything (Reykjavik is a smal town) but not to the bus station.
Nowhere to leave bags after checking out."

"The apartment was great and had everything we needed. There is a small private parking lot, but unfortunately our large van was a bit too big to fit. Plenty of street parking within a few blocks though. Staff were very responsive to messages."

"Location is excellent, close to all the great restaurants and can walk to the church in about 10 min. Very close to bus stop 1 and 3 for tours. Room was excellent and clean. There is a bakery around the corner to grab breakfast. "
"This is a lovely hotel near the harbour.
The reception staff were friendly and welcoming.
My room was clean amd had a lovely view to the mountains and harbour. We had a balcony which was an added bonus.
The only niggle I had was from noisy neighbours (nothing filthy). I did request my room to be cleaned but it never happened during my 3 night stay.
The hotels restaurant was amazing. The food was delicious. I recommend the lamb if its still on the menu. If you fancy eating out, the steakhouse...
"The Hotel Marina is located in a working harbor but still was quieter than the hotel we said in that was a bit more in the heart of town. Staff was reliably friendly and helpful. And the room was clean and spacious. We loved it!"
