We had no issues the first night of our stay. The handicap accessible room was so spacious. My mother was able to get around easily. However, the second evening, while giving a shower to my 3 year old granddaughter, I heard the toilet start to gurgle and bubble. Then it started to overflow. My husband called the front desk to advise them and then all of a sudden, water started bubbling up in the shower and flooding the bathroom floor. They offered us a new room. The new room was not handicap accessible which was a problem as my 87 year old mother was with us as well. The room was quite warm so we turned the AC down...it didn't work. By this time it was close to 10pm, the granddaughter was falling asleep, my mother needed the restroom and she couldn't get her walker in the bathroom, so my husband called front desk again. She gave us 2 rooms beside eachother which normally wouldn't be an issue, but she was in a room by herself that was not handicap accessible. We were told a manager would contact us in the morning. He didn't. We called back and were told they would call him right away and ask him to call us because we personally wanted to speak to someone. We were also told that this was booked through Expedia and they couldn't help us, but we are Hilton Honors members and started booking through Hilton so we don't even know how Expedia got involved in the first place. It has now been a week and we have not heard from either party as to our horrible experience.
