Terrific Place to Stay

Terrific place to stay. Well organised, well run. Alan was very friendly and couldn’t be more helpful. There were nice little touches, such as facial wipes, cotton pads and ear buds left out for guests. We had a lovely breakfast, great accommodation and had a really nice stay.

The Station House is a homely place to stay. The interior is excellent, the couple have worked very hard to get the place looking amazing. A very peaceful and tranquil stay and the owners are friendly and very accommodating.We will definitely stay again when in the area.

This place it's more than a B&B. It has everything you would expect from a high end hotel but in a cosy property. Alan is a fantastic host and will make you feel like home straight away. The room was impeccable with everything needed and more. And the area is so quiet and peaceful. I'll be coming back and recommend this place to anyone.

Room was spotless, very comfortable and modern. Alan was a great host, giving us some great recommendations as well as being very welcoming and cooking us a nice breakfast. If I was in the area again I would happily stay another night.

Clean, Comfy Stop in Lanark

This place is spotless and beautifully decorated. The welcome was warm and the breakfast second to none. Our hosts gave useful information about the area too.

The Station House was situated in a nice quiet rural place, peaceful and relaxing. Staff very welcoming (Alan / Mrs) cater for all your needs, ensure your stay is a pleasant one. The room we had was spacious, clean an nicely decorated. Will be staying there again on next visit to Scotland

Lovely property and location Greeted by friendly host and super clear check in Ordered breakfast the night before and it was amazing the next morning! This was the perfect end location for our recent vacation. Situated within easy surviving distance of Glasgow and Edinburgh, or beautiful countryside, we were able to customize our activities for each day of our stay. I’d recommend this little gem to anyone (singles, couples, or families) for a great experience and a filling breakfast that will keep you going for a day PACKED full of all the things Scotland has to offer!

What a great find for b&b accommodation. The room and en-suite were 4* hotel standard and at a very affordable price. Alan is a very attentive and helpful host and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast was excellent. I would thoroughly recommend this property.
