"I cannot say enough positive things about this hotel. At check-in, I was thoughtfully greeted and allowed to retreat to my room well over 3 hours early. Reception encouraged me to get some rest when I mentioned I was quite tired, and that they’d be happy to give me a tour once rested if this was my preference. "Fabulous hotel - almost Belmond but not quite. Rooms are excellent (must comfortable beds with down pillows). Breakfast is superb. Pool service a bit sporadic but overall the staff were wonderful. "

"The views over Lamego are fantastic. It is only a short walk into the old town (albeit uphill on the way back). Having parking on site is ideal as Lamego can be very busy and difficult to park in the centre. The host was very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are very nice, great bed."

The main room has kitchen, table, lounge, small TV and a fire. The separate bedroom has two single beds with an adjoining bathroom.
