Hotel Dekat Lamb's Rock

"The place was calm and well maintained"

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our family of 10 stayed at Ayatana Ooty for four days in mid June to celebrate my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary, and it exceeded every expectation. We booked four rooms - the Jacuzzi Chalets. The cool weather, misty mornings, and beautiful surroundings made the stay even more special. The resort is stunning, the rooms are spacious, the food is excellent, and every member of the staff was warm, courteous, and attentive. The team made my parents’ milestone anniversary unforgettable....

"Perfect retreat in the Nilgiris. Beautiful and comfortable rooms and excellent food at the restaurant! Be sure to include the buffet breakfast in your package"

"Best in tiger hill"

"the staff is well behaved and always ready to help you. This makes your stay safe and comfortable."

"Nice location and nice view and staff. But there is no proper road to the property. The existing path is broken and not concrete. During heavy rain uphill can be problematic, especially when dark."

"Decent rooms and good food."

"Perfect place to get away. First time that we went to the Nilgiris and didn’t feel like going out. Rooms are very nice. Great view from the balcony. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Good food too."

"We had an incredible stay at this property! The mountain views right from our room were breathtaking, and the entire staff was exceptionally courteous and helpful. A special mention to Dipen and his wife, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, the home-cooked food was absolutely delicious. We loved the experience so much that we decided to extend our stay!"

"We (2 adults and 2 kids) had a pleasant stay at Stumpfields. It is 500 meters above Ooty town and within half an hour driving distance. This picturesque place is quiet, serene and well-maintained. Plenty of small and medium sized birds can be seen in and around the property. Breakfast prepared by the staff was very good and homely and the rooms are well maintained. The access to the property is steep, narrow and the terrain is little rugged, so be prepared and experience is needed to get to the...

"The one that attracted me is their cleanliness and friendly staff. The customer service is excellent. The vicinity is beautiful and easily accessible from city. Must stay. Decent price. They have dine in restaurant also."

"Morning breakfast good but it not enough for adults.no tooth paste, tooth brush,no fan,.not worth the money We spent."

"Unclean property, dirty toilets, noisy rooms, please do not stay here at all. it's nothing like it shows on the photos."

"Excellent service and very peaceful location, even though slightly steep last few 100 yards for the car. Nice view from the room and property in general. Staff and cook are very very polite. Rooms were clean and organized. Bathrooms were also clean, although slightly wet after they clean (hosts can perhaps look into this and ensure bathrooms are wiped after cleaning). This was only reason for for a 4-star rating on “rooms” (instead of 5-star rating)."
