"Loved our stay at the historic Court House, beautifully restored as the Abner Inn. Service was excellent, dinner was equally fantastic, service was super. Staying in the beautiful village of Litchfield is always a special treat for my wife and I as we love stopping in the Village Pub for a drink and to taking a drive to Lake Waramaug and the beautiful New Preston village. We will be back to the Abner in a few weeks!"

Not only was my room designed impeccably and clean, but there were free waters, snacks and freshly baked cookies available upon arrival. "Basic motel totally renovated with simple but stylish furnishings. No one on premises but instant reply via text when we had trouble opening the keypad upon a return to the room. Nice location. Noise (from maybe kitchen fans at night from nearby restaurant ) took away from the quiet lawn setting with lots of Adirondack chairs. "Properly marketed and described. No particular amenities (aside from WiFi), but lots was apparently available at the mother ship, in town. But I wasn’t there for amenities, and I expect most guests weren’t. Clean room, easy parking, my dog was welcome. Busy road out front, but set back far night that I never heard any noise from there. "You must drive pass the motel in the front to get to this hotel- but once there you'll be happy. Parking is complimentary - you will get excellent customer service - A clean hotel that is quiet - accessible with a pool- gym and free breakfast starting at 7am!
