"All of the staff were amazing in all the details they each had for their jobs. Management treated us with so much respect and genuine kindness after knowing what we had just had from a previous stay at a different hotel. The room was beautiful and clean, the restaurant had wonderful food and very nice staff, the pool area was still able to be used until 11pm, as well as the jacuzzi! The layout of the indoor area was built so it made you feel you had a large welcoming area with plants and places to sit and relax. There as also a work out area which had many forms of equipment and looked clean. The free breakfast room was large, clean, and kept filled with fresh food during the hours open for breakfast. There was also a coffee area outside of that room so if you wanted one- without being in your room or breakfast area- was kept available. I would HIGHLY recommend using this Hotel if visiting or working in the Watertown S.Dakota area. The outside had large, clean area for parking and a nice area for unloading or loading when visiting or leaving to make it easier for those with families or groups for meetings. We both felt safe, comfortable and wished that all places had this standard inside and out! And the prices to me seemed about the same as some shabby places.(Been there!)We saw many gathering with lots of family members which says there’s a high level of trust. I usually use my timeshare but this was on a unscheduled road trip. Thank you all always! Your awesome!"
"The queen beds were surprisingly comfortable. We appreciated the choice of pillow options. It was perfect for our one-night stay. If we are in the area again we'll stay here. One recommendation - we needed a late afternoon pick-me-up and thought we'd grab a cup of coffee in the lobby. ALL pots, dark and light roast, and decaf were stone cold. Good thing Starbucks was close by."
"Room was clean. Older hotel and breakfast wasn’t great. Just packaged doughnuts and toast basically. Air conditioner was loud but again very clean and kept up."
"I have stayed at this property before and had been very impressed with its cleanliness and attention to detail, so I chose to stay here again a year later. Unfortunately, this time the quality had dropped a bit. The room was fairly clean but the sheets and towels had some stains on them, which is a total turnoff for me. I was given some new towels but was disappointed that overall the property had taken a decline in it’s quality and cleanliness!"
"Our initial room smelled musty and carpet wet. Within 5 minutes manager (Rog?) Was there, with new key cards to upgraded room and he apologized, saying it might be due to the storm last night. A little while later they were still working on the prior room, fixing the carpet right away. Great service. Breakfast attendant nice and friendly"
