"We stayed at the Hyatt Place in Gainville on the way to Naples, FL. It was very nice, indeed. It had a wonderful pool and seating area above street level. UNFORTUNATELY, a real deluge of a rain storm arrived shortly after we did and, thus, I was not able to take advantage of that feature that afternoon (I did, however, do a quick swim that next morning before checking out).
The hotel had nice, small restaurant which had a wonderful free breakfast in the morning (it had a small but decent menu for dinner but we had heard about a superb pizza just a half block away and dined there instead).
The facility is rather sandwhiched into the historic downtown area and, had we not had a handicapped sticker which enable us to park immediately outside, the parking may have been a problem.
The staff were all very helpful incudling one who ran around to obtain a box of tissues for me when we ran out of them.
If we ever do, by chance, return to Gainseville, we would most decidedly stay at the facility again (and hope that the rain deluge would not reappear!)."
"The property was very nice. A very unique setup with the all the rooms in different eclectic buildings. It is near lots of things to do including the Kanapaha botanical gardens. Beautiful. Short walk to shops and restaurants."
