It would be great if the room just had a closet to store your clothes away. We had to use the couch to leave our lugage and clothes.

We had a lovely stay at the Azoris Faial Garden hotel. Fabulous views of Pico island and lovely hotel grounds. Food was very good, plenty of choice at breakfast and all food clearly labelled for allergens. The only thing missing was tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

The Casa do Ze is very well equipped with all utensils and essentials for cooking your own meals. The coffee maker is a moka pot, (first time using one) that makes great espresso. This place is superb for a great relaxing holiday. If you want discos and nightlife like that then don’t bother. This place is lovely and tranquil and great for getting away from it all, the views are beautiful and the atmosphere is very relaxed.
The two attractions within walking distance at Calheta are the sugar mill and the Museum of Contemporary Art. I visited both but obviously they won't be of interest to everyone.
