Horrible experience... please avoid.

Horrible experience from checkin to room condition. First, check in was headache when the attendee kept asking for confirmation and we provided number but that doesn't suffice, she wants to some sort of hardcopy proof. Obviously livid, then ask her to check her system for my name. Secondly, though the room was clean but in bad shape. Most of the power outlets aint working. Major leakage under the basin like a pool. Called the reception they came and the dude couldn't differentiate the toilet from basin. After they supposedly fixed it, the pool of water was left there looking disgusting. We have pictures for proof. Finally, they only offer breakfast for one when room was booked for two. Never going there again and not even close to recommending this hotel. Better and cheaper hotels in the area. Avoid if you can.

BAD MANAGEMENT!

It wasn't a pleasant stay at all! My experience there was HORRIBLE!! The rooms by the pool side were run down. The bathroom smells like dumpster, water dripping everywhere. Little black bugs on the bedsheets. I did asked them to move me to the main building and I don't mind to pay more for the upgrade. But, for some reasons they refused and said that they don't have anything available. But, when I went online it was available I believe that they want me to bribe them before they could put me in another room or upgrade me to the main building. Even if I have to tip you...you have to treat me well first. I don't know why we're treating each other like that?? Because of EGUNJEEE!!! 😃 TOO BAD!!! 👎 I WON'T STAY THERE AGAIN.

The location of the hotel is central to many places. You can easily connect your way from there. The breakfast was great and very delicious. However, I feel sad that I was checked in to a room that was not cleaned. I checked in to meet used soap in the bathroom, half roll of tissue and the room was so unkept. There was also one towel in the bathroom despite checking in as two adult (I was surprised to be told that they only provide one towel per room).

SCAM ALERT!

SCAM ALERT!! We booked a hotel at the Double M exquisite hotel in Lekki from Tuesday to Monday. On Thursday the staff stated that the overbooked and we would be staying at the sister hotel which was a downgrade. I contacted hotel.com which were the 3rd party. Hotel.com contacted the property and the manager stated the everyone was moved due to a leak. LIES! I went back to the hotel and took video to present to hotel.com of guests. Hotel.com was very accommodating and provided me with a coupon due to the inconvenience and poor management of the hotel. This hotel made money off of me and the other party that took our room.

Good discovery-Used 2 stayin other hotels in Ikeja

Recommended by a family friend. Made to feel welcomed by staff on duty and their GM. Good location for easy access to other parts of Lagos and for shopping. Area is lively and secure. Friendly staff except for some restaurant staff noted for unprofessional and unfriendly attitude. Good value for money. Good amenities and services. My wife and I had a pleasant and relaxing time made enjoyable by friendly staff. I'd recommend the hotel to frequent visitors to Lagos. Awaiting reward of stay 10 nights and get 1 night free.

I stayed at this hotel about. 6 years ago when it was formerly called renaissance ( it was new back then). The standard has really dropped. The room smelled murky. Just one of everything was provided (toilet paper, towel, etc). We told someone ( he came to inspect the room when we checked out) about the hotel not providing more toiletries and he said it was only provided on demand. The hotel has really deteriorated. The staff were very friendly, makes up for the poor maintenance of this hotel. It is also close to the mall so we were able to go get food. The hotel food was also very pricey and they did not have everything on their menu. Overall, the hotel is just okay for a one night stay.

Great Hotel in Excellent Location!

The hotel is in a great location. This hotel is beautiful, spacious and well-maintained. It is a one-minute walk to Ikeja Shoprite and other restaurants. The hotel has plenty staffs, all well-trained, courteous and very helpful. The rooms are modern and also very spacious. I stayed in a mini suite and also experienced a standard room which was great. The beds are comfortable, however, I suggest that special attention be paid to the cleaning of the headboards on the beds. The air conditioning works very well. Also, the WiFi here is very strong, good for both video calling and surfing the web. The bathrooms are clean, spacious with unlimited supply of hot water. The breakfast is decent and there is a lot to choose from on the menu. There is quite a lot of sitting areas outside of the rooms where one can just simply relax or chat with guests.

Booking not recognised by the hotel

The check in was delayed as staff claimed there was no booking. That the booking did not appear on their system. After a long discussion I was checked in with the provision that more checking will be done and I would be informed. As if I could be ejected.

Room for Improvement

The staff were very friendly and courteous. The air conditioner in our room was very noisy and attempts were made to replace without any luck. We were eventually moved to another room. The bathrooms needs redecorating. Tea making facilities should be made available in standard rooms.

BEST SECURITY HOTEL

I like the workers over the but they have to do a lot of changers over there .They gave you only one TOWEL for 2 adults a day, NO face TOWEL,NO hand TOWEL.So i contact the manager i told him everything going on there and the breakfast they are trying to charge one person .What they said online is not what they do over there, in Africa they can do whatever they like.
