"The views are amazing! And the staff is very nice. Unfortunately the hotel breakfast was poor and of very mediocre quality. The dinner restaurant was a buffet with mediocre cafeteria quality items. Most surprising was the fact that the towels were ancient and yellowed badly needed replacement. The hotel needs a renovation if it is to become an attractive place. A pity since the location is truly phenomenal."

"Don't be fooled. This resort does not have a spa or spa services as advertised on expedia. However, apart from that, it was a lovely hotel."

"Quinta Atlantis is a beautiful space that makes you feel right at home. The craftsmanship of the wood is amazing and the fireplace is awesome. A great place for solo or couple travelers in the hills of Povoacao. You’ll spend time with the dog Laika and the cat Pluto who are very friendly, but will give you space as well. Breakfast is the best you’ll get on the island. Fruit, eggs, fresh Jam, yogurt, vegetables and hummus. I will surely stay there next time I’m on Sao Miguel."

"Location is 20 minute walk to the centre square. A few great restaurants around within a ten minute walk. Lovely coastal walk across the road. Staff was super friendly and the whole check-in/out process was easy. Our room had a wonderful view of the ocean."
