"Cabanas Alechen was just the perfect place to stay!! Alejandro and Eduardo were SO kind, they brought homemade bread and pastries for breakfast, they treated us like family. "The hotel is fine. In a good, not great, location, as it is a fairly long walk into the city center. Hotel is clean. Good hot water. Comfortable bed. Having said that , it needs updating. "

"We enjoyed the cabin setup. There was plenty of space for two of us but also an extra bed in the living room and two in the loft would make it a great place for a family. The kitchen was well equipped, and the property is a few minutes walk from the strip of restaurants and stores in downtown Calafate. Breakfast was pretty good, including fruits and breads, ham/cheese, and scrambled eggs (the eggs were the only hot cooked option)."
