"The lodge is in an excellent location. Parking at lodge was great and free . 5 mins from town, restaurants and bar. The only downside was there was no shelving in room or bathroom to put anything on (clothing) or no place to put toiletries. As well did not provide suitcase rack m (s) so had to use chair to have suitcases open, as stated already no shelving to place things. Also no Kleenex provided. All of this is pretty basic and should not have to live out of a suitcase for three...

"Woodhill House is a charming old manor house in a lovely little town. The room was spacious and clean and the area was very quiet. Breakfast was delicious, though they only start serving at 8:30am so plan accordingly. John was a very welcoming host and made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend Woodhill House if you are in the Ardara area."

It is advertised as an “award-winning” guesthouse, which was difficult to understand given the overall experience. The rooms were neither bright nor airy, but small, tired, and carried a strong smell of stale grease and dirt.
