We had Chulan who looked after us during our stay and was very attentive and helpful. This place is old charm but with modern day facilities. "Staff were excellent, as was the breakfast. Not the hotel’s fault but there are many stray dogs in the area which although friendly enough when you walk near them spend most of the night howling or barking or fighting which made sleeping very difficult. "

"This hotel was beautiful, but the road to get there may not be worth it. It eventually turns into a dirt road and it can be dangerous. It is a very long way up the mountain. The only way to get there is a tuktuk or scooter, but that still could be dangerous. Just know that it is a long way out of Kandy."

"Beautiful property with wonderful staff and best food we had on the island. Loved the excursions and hikes on offer. Special mention to the organic farm they have, we enjoyed a tour and all our meals sourced ingredients from right on site. Location was close enough to Kandy for sightseeing but much nicer to be away from the city and surrounding by nature and the mountain view. Especially from the spa pool!! Highly recommend"
