"The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was also clean and at a nice temperature. There were yard games as well. The hotel is a short distance from restaurants and wine tasting rooms. The check-in person was very friendly and helpful with information about the area. We would return here again to explore Carmel and Big Sur. "

"Although this property does not have an onsite restaurant/ so no room service… I can honestly say this hotel has nicer accommodations than the Ritz Carlton in San Francisco!!! The bathroom was absolutely fantastic - huge stand alone bathtub, giant shower with a bench, heated floors!!! However, I did feel that some of the staff in the cafeteria were not as friendly or welcoming toward us compared to how they treated other guests. "The property exceeded my expectation in some ways. The mini-fridge was a small Fridge with a separate freezer section. It looked like it was recently updated. The clerk said they were still working on more updates. Parking is limited but that is not totally unusual. There isn’t a menu or pricing for the restaurant next door and when we looked it up online the prices were very different than the actual prices. We will stay there again. "
