"The staff lady who greeted us was polite and courteous and allowed us to check in a little early as the room was ready. The bar area was dark but cozy. they have a beer garden but the weather was unforgiving so we could not experience it The room was fine and the bed comfortable. The bathroom had all the amenities that you would expect and was clean. The shower was a little tight but the water pressure was great. "We had a great stay at The Tawny Owl. Lovely clean room, comfy bed, decent facilities and a great price meant that itvwas fantastic value. We ate in the pub restaurant and found the food really good and the selection of beers was excellent. "

"Nice dining area for breakfast and evening meals. Good variety of options for breakfast and a varied evening meal menu. Beds are nice and comfortable. Good tea and coffee facilities in room. If I had have known it was so pet friendly I may have brought my pet. Convenience store with ATM on other side of street for any other items. All of the staff we encountered were pleasant, courteous and helpful. I would stay again when I return to the area as I likely will."
