Hotel Dekat La Piazzetta

"Everything was perfect except for lunch. Just bit too pricy for 2 ppl for €540 & foods & cooking quality just normal not fine dining. You can find more nice top quality restaurant near here with good price."

"We were warmly received by Donatella and her daughter, Francesca. Donatella was very gracious and created marvelous treats for breakfast. Her homemade apple strudel was the best I’ve ever had. Francesca was amazing and helped us coordinate ferry schedules, dinner reservations, and activities. The setting is gorgeous and idyllic. Truly a unique and fabulous stay."

"Sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal, tolle Location und nah zu Como."

"This was my first stay at this hotel in Cernobbio and my favourite Hotel is now converted into luxury apartments, so I needed a new Hotel in Cernobbio. This hotel is brilliant and I will stay again. Its in a great position and the downstairs has to be seen to be believed and luckily the room had a balcony with great views. The staff were also very professional and engaging and the food was very good and quick. See you soon guys- if you will have me."

"This is a beautiful kept property, great location, comfortable, friendly staff and delicious breakfast."

"Très bel hôtel avec une architecture soignée. Chambre spacieuse, petit déjeuner de qualité, piscine rooftop et salle de sport au top"

"Exactly what’d you’d expect from a luxury hotel by the lakeside. Great welcoming staff, great amenities and food. The price is up there but you really get what you pay for and the view is an experience all in itself"

"This property rates itself as a four-star but fails in a number of ways, FIRST, we there in late October shoulder season…. Which means the HVAC system was completely off. Which means absolutely no ventilation in the room. What? The front desk offered to bring us a fan. What? Secondly, calling the front desk. There is a phone in the room. But there are no instructions on how to call the front desk. Lifting the receiver did nothing. Dialing zero did nothing. The preprogrammed buttons did...

"The hotel is centrally located with the lake, restaurants, tramway and lake ferries within walking distance. The hotel does not offer onsite parking but there is a public parking lot about 10 minutes away walking. The hotel is older with basic accommodations and does not offer breakfast, but our room was clean and had coffee, tea, water and pastries provided. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accomodating."

"Staff were fantastic, very helpful. However the hotel was booked for a wedding and the guests could not use the restaurant overlooking the lake. Also they did not provide room service to accommodate the guests. Sound proof room( no) very noisy."

"Beautiful hotel/room Excellent location Very nice, would stay again"

"The most pleasant clean beautiful very central hotel"

"Overall this was a good hotel for our stay in Como. We stayed two nights in a room that faced the lake. You could hear normal restaurant noise with the window open but once closed it was pretty soundproof. The room was clean and we appreciated the complimentary waters in the fridge. Room was quite small though, not much room to walk with two open suitcases. Breakfast was your standard European breakfast in the attached restaurant downstairs. Location was perfect, just a quick walk to shopping...

"Room never cleaned or made in 6 days. Had to ask for toilet paper and wait half day for it. Trash never emptied for 6 days. I had to take out my own garbage because i did not want to smell."

"ottima scelta"

"Vielen Dank für den hervorragenden, kundenorientierten und freundlichen Kontakt. Das Frühstück, welches in einer naheliegenden Bäckerei/Konditorei serviert wird, hätte durchaus etwas üppiger ausfallen dürfen. Wir werden diese Unterkunft aber trotzdem sehr gerne weiter empfehlen,"
