"We were helped very friendly upon arrival. We arrived in Arequipa with the nightbus from Nasca so we went to the hotel hoping to be able to store our luggage until we could check in. The very friendly hotelmanager, Eddy, told us that our room was available already. This was really welcome, we could have a shower after our nightly ride and explore the city al freshened up. "We spent three nights at Katari hotel in Arequipa (May 2026). You can't beat the location, right on the central plaza! They serve a very nice breakfast (made to order) on the open-air terrace overlooking the Plaza de Armas. It was so peaceful and lovely. We also had drinks at sunset from the same terrace. Loved it! "This is a great hotel. Unfortunately the room opposite mine had their tv on so load I could hear it despite being on the opposite side of the corridor, but I can’t blame the hotel for that. They asked them to turn it down but I could still hear it at 4:30am!
