The property is big however it is unkept. The entrance seems abandoned. The receptionist was unfriendly and despite we asked for consideration to access our room half hour before since we got off a long night flight she refused and delivered the keys to us 15 minutes after check in. Let me say that we left the property at 5am. I must say that the waiters had excellent customer service and saved the experience here.

It’s a lovely place to stay and relax with multiple pools, a beach front, many food options, free breakfast, and delicious dinner options at cost but worth it nonetheless. I’d highly recommend it for couples, families, friends and families. My stay at Izalco hotel & beach resort was the vacation I needed for sure. Clean rooms, amenities and an overall friendly and welcoming staff makes this place worth it and I recommend anyone looking for a great place to stay in El Salvador, this is it. Oh and it’s under 40 mins. From the airport which made things even more convenient for when we had to fly back home.

first of the price for what they offer and announce themselves not work it!! so i picked this place because i was looking for a spa like place, the lady that did the spa was off, so didn’t get my spa, staff dinning and all beverages done by 9pm what kind of resort is this. the rooms not as clean and the bathroom has a plumbing issue, my waiter was amazing!!!

The pictures are completely way different than what the property looks like. I would not recommend this place to nobody. I am not satisfied. The only reason I stayed is because I don’t know El Salvador. I want my money back.

There’s no drinking water. All the water that comes out of sinks to brush your teeth is salty! The shower is also salty … you need bottle water even to wash your hands. The pool has green moist (dirt) stuck in it, very slippery and disgusting.

staffing nice specially waiters. all fine however toilet wasnt working for 1 day IMAGINE THAT. and they removed towels so we had no towels for 2nd night since were not replaced so we reached manager since our battery charger was not on the room and we are sure we left that inside room but even though it means NOTHING the fact that the manager didnt even try to empathize would make this experience from being almost good to be really dissapointed.. not so cool izalco hotel

Despite being almost empty during our stay, we were hosted in the worst rooms (#12 and #13) which are very small, with a messy floor plan and urgently need an update. Would not spend another 80 USD on this kind of motel-like rooms.

I paid for four people. They did not give me four towels I have to argue with the person in Charge call Alexandria. They charge foe children . They don even treat them like peolpe.

I liked the service personnel. They are kind and nice. I did not like management or the bad conditions of the facilities. The room had 2 broken windows. The white chairs were dirty, one seemed to have blood stain. They run salty water in this facility. They don't answer the phone nor they reply the emails. Extremely expensive for the poor service, $177.00 for one night. Expedia said all inclusive, they said not, this was only for the stay. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL.
