"Excellent, hidden gem."

"The rooms need an upgrade. When elevators door open on the penthouse level, a strong stale smell welcomes you. My room with a blacony faced a wall across the street. I asked for a similar room facing the oposite side of the building and I was promised one starting next day. next day i was told was a staff miscommunication and they had none. the fact they have sensors for the bottles and snacks in the room gives one an unpleasant feeling of mistrust, not quite appropriate for their expensive...

"A non-conventional layout (pool, etc.), but the room was very nice, the staff friendly & helpful, and the location great. I had a nice morning walk to the Petersen Automotive Museum."

"The room is big enough , clean , bed is comfortable . Parking is easy , close. However , the air vent cover in bathroom is very old , bent , very rusty and has a spiderweb. Vanity sink drains slowly. It takes a long time , close to 4 minutes, for the shower water to get warm enough to get under. I feel guilty wasting water especially in CA ."

"Palihotel was a cute boutique with charm for days. However, it missed basic amenities like a place inside the hotel to buy water, toothbrush, tampons. I had to walk down to the 7-11 at night, which was 1/2 a mile away. They do include 2 water bottles and snacks in the room but at a high cost like most hotels."

"Wonderful experience. The staff is super helpful and friendly. The hotel is dog friendly… though it’s challenging to get to a designated place to relieve the dogs. The rooms are beautiful and modern. Excellent amenities. Love the roof top restaurant and pool!"

"Good location. Safe. I stayed in an Accessible Room and the room was very spacious and the bathroom was huge. The room itself was clean when I arrived and staff cleaned it everyday which is nice since nowadays other properties only clean every other day or upon request. New towels everyday. I was impressed. The free onsite parking was also nice. There is a security guard ALWAYS watching the parking lot and the property, which is very good. There were landscapers maintaining and cleaning the...

"The first room we got wasn't cleaned. Ther was someone's shower cap and other garbage in the room. The second room was clean, but our toilet only sometimes flushed. We called twice to get it fixed but it didn't improve. We told the staff about the issues upon checkout and they said they would refund us the property fee but they never did."
