Hotel Rober Palas
8/10 Good
"We stayed at Hotel Rober Palas in L’Alfàs del Pi for two nights and overall had a pleasant stay. The hotel is in a fantastic location, close to the beach, with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops nearby. The reception area is lovely, clean and well maintained, giving a great first impression. The reception staff were very friendly, helpful and spoke excellent English. There is also a café, bar and restaurant within the hotel, although we didn’t use these facilities. There are two lifts, with stairs conveniently located nearby. The rooms are fairly basic but clean and perfectly adequate for a short stay. Our room had two single beds pushed together, each with separate bedding. The mattresses were quite firm, which may suit some guests but won’t be to everyone’s liking. The bathroom had a lovely large shower with hot, powerful water, which was a definite bonus! The only downside was the lack of storage space, as there were no shelves or worktops for toiletries. Housekeeping attended daily, with fresh towels provided each day, which was appreciated. Overall, a clean, well-located hotel with friendly staff. We would happily return for a short break, although for a longer stay we would probably prefer somewhere offering a little more comfort and additional room amenities."
