"I booked this hotel because of positive reviews... Convenient location but that's about it.
Firstly, housekeeping was very sloppy. I came back to a dusty room, items on the floor by the bedside table, no amenities refilled, or cleaned yukata (despite mine was taken away).
I asked twice about luggage transfer and was told to bring my luggages down for assistance. I took them down the day before checkout. I was told I had to fill out a form, which is fine, although I wish I was made aware of that because I could have completed the form at night instead of in the morning when I was trying to sightsee. I asked if they could measure and weigh my luggages but they said no, which was bizarre considering Sawaga set in the confirmation that they may charge extra if the size and weight exceeds the limit.
If you have credits from a third-party booking platform, you need to ask for them specifically because I was not offered the credits when I checked in.
I appreciate the coffee bar (from 10:00 a.m. onwards) but I didn't think the breakfast buffet was worth 2,800 yen.
I think my experience here fell short and the service was mediocre at best."
