"As international visitors with several pieces of luggage, we faced difficulties during our journey in Kyoto because the hotel would not store our bags for an extra day after check-out."

"Best place for solo female traveller to stay if u wanna go around gion-uji-biwa area. It’s located infront of main road and it’s easy to spot the hotel. It’s also easy to bring your luggage from sanjo station. The room space is spacious and i really wanted to extend my stay for one day but i have other plans."

The only glitch, which I feel compelled to mention, is the 'smoking' area that is right at the entrance by the main door of the hotel. "Great location, lovely hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit."

"This hotel is located in a great area within walking distance to many amenities, temples, and other tourist attractions. Our room was on the smaller side, but it was modern, well-designed, efficient, and very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. It was my birthday while we were there, and the staff gifted me with beautiful sake cups, which was so very thoughtful and unexpected. We really enjoyed our stay there and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!"

"Very convenient location near restaurants, shopping and main train station. Located one block away from Kyoto tower which has food court on the basement floor. Hotel has a public sauna and provides robes (japanese style). We stayed 5 nights and will stay here again. Highly recommend!"

"Great location that’s situated in a quiet neighborhood but within close walking proximity to several great shops, restaurants, and transit. Staff is very gracious and attentive, large beds, comfortable pillows (1 soft, 1 firm), massage chairs, an excellent breakfast buffet that incorporates the best of Western and Asian cuisine, complimentary tea time in the afternoon followed by wine. We all really enjoyed our time here and would most definitely book this hotel again during our next trip to...
