The staff are amazing. Very accomodating! There are great restaurants in the area. Its a close walk to the Kyoto station.

Great location, within 10mins walk from Kyoto station. Also a short walk to Kyoto Tower. Staff super friendly and happy to help. The room was on the smaller side but we opted for the cheapest option which you come to expect, still we had a faultless experience.

I had a satisfying stay at the Rhiga Hotel in Tokyo. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful, and the room was a decent size. The hotel's location is convenient, and they offer a shuttle service to Kyoto Station every 20 minutes. I really enjoyed the on-site restaurants, which provided a variety of breakfast options. I would definitely stay here again.

Overall our experience at this hotel was good. We had a small issue when first arriving however the staff were able to help us. Positives: Great shuttle service to and from Kyoto station. Helpful concierge that showed us how to get to places we were unsure about. Good services my partner got his face shaved and massages and he loved this and for a reasonable price! Negatives: Breakfast in the French dining - it had a great view however we were not told that it was a set menu and as I am a vegetarian I wasn’t given a different option. Dinner buffet - found this extremely disappointing. We had to spend 5000yen each, which seemed very very expensive and with a limited selection of food. I would recommend staying at the hotel however I would suggest eating elsewhere. PS this is a very large hotel and doesn’t have a lot of atmosphere if that is something you are looking for.

Shuttle bus from Kyoto station v convenient. Excellent check in/ out service, room had comfortable beds. Good amenities, 14th fl revolving restaurant for breakfast was wonderful. Only issue was the time spent in catching elevator to 14th fl, only one available and took much longer than expected. A bit of an inconvenience to reach 14th fl restaurant, esp if you are on a tight schedule. Otherwise, service was excellent. Would stay here again on next Kyoto visit.

Nice hotel near the main station. We hoped a checked-in 40 minutes earlier due to our arrival by train would be possible but it wasn‘t. We dropped our luggage instead and visited the Kyoto Tower in the meantime, which was really nice as well. The water temperature during a shower has changed very strongly and often. Unfortunately, the ice cube machine was always empty on our floor when we looked. And the blankets slipped out of our bed linen while sleeping when the blanket hung over the foot end.

The sauna is men only. It’s a large hotel so staff too busy with tour groups to cater for my VIP access. . Great shuttle bus to station every 20 mins and handy for all public transport.

The room was spacious and extremely clean. Not sure why there wasn’t a microwave oven in the room. The coffee in the urns was far better than the instant machines. The breakfast buffet had many excellent options, but the bacon was not cooked and at certain times the area was extremely crowded and it seemed a bit disorganized.

Good sized room but the bed was too hard and the duvet was short and light. Not much choice for vegetarians in the various restaurants on site or on the breakfast buffet. The wellness centre and swimming pool has additional charges and only opens from 1.30pm to 6.30pm. Excellent concierge services and regular shuttle to the train station.
