The place was very clean, the host is very quick to respond. It's not far to bus stops and just a ten minutes peaceful walk to the train station. Overall, we were very happy with this place.
Overall was excellent. I am not sure if it was the owner but he approached us and let us in as soon as he saw us. Very accommodating for we have to leave our luagages after check out time and just have to pick up after our tour without any extra charge. If given the opportunity to come back would really want to stay in the same place.
Everything is good, except found a cockroach running on the floor inside the apartment on the day of leaving.

Could be fabulous? Could not get rid of the ‘I loved it!’ Label. We didn’t. In fact we were very dis
We have used VRBO for apartments in France, Italy, Japan and Greece previously and all have been fabulous. This apartment is new, 5 minutes walk to a bus stop that is only a 10 minute trip to the front of Kyoto Station, clean and in a quiet residential area - real positives. However the equipment inside was somewhat lacking. Plastic big dining plates, a few bowls and seven plastic mugs. No eating knives but a few forks, a few spoons and chopsticks. There were a few cooking pots. No glasses of any sort. The only seating was on one very uncomfortable couch covered by a few rugs as the unholstery was damaged. There is no washing machine (probably economy measures after building the property and we knew that when we booked) but a clothes line with three pegs on it. There was no usual Japanese stool in the bathroom. This place has so much potential but maybe needs a woman’s touch. No cushions or decoration on the walls or television. So this stay was our first disappointment with VRBO. We though properties were inspected to make sure the standards we have experienced elsewhere were met. We had trouble establishing the wi-fi but the owner was very helpful and prompt in sorting that out. The bedding was two queen sized beds squeezed into the bedroom with not much space to move around them. So bedding for four but no seating for four. The main floor area was covered with what we think would be a bed rug as it was so light it could easily be a tripping hazard. We are not known to be fussy people and must admit this was a last minute choice as everything else that looked good was booked, or in one case sold. There were precise and clear instructions of how to get there and into the flat and house rules sent to us prior to arrival which were of a very good standard. With some improvement with the contents this place could be very good and in an interesting area.
The area around the apartment is very clean and quiet. It's a very comfortable and clean place to stay with family. But there is a point that is no wash machine. The closest store location is 5 minutes away. You have to use bus to get to this place. I'm satisfied with my family for 4 days here.
