"We stayed one night at Yellow House Niseko, and that was enough for us. While the location was convenient for walking to local pubs and convenience stores, and the staff was very responsive—helping us arrange a private taxi from the airport—the overall experience left a lot to be desired.
The biggest issue was the paper-thin walls. Our room had a sliding door that opened into the main lobby area, so we could hear everything—footsteps, conversations, and any movement from other guests. The...

"Great location at the base of the slope, easy to walk up to the first lift. Ski valet included makes life so much easier - pick up skis then walk up the slope in the morning. Easy access to the town and all it has to offer. Staff were professional, courteous, and always helpful. The onsen (spa) is not huge but it is sufficient. The breakfast buffet, though not luxurious, offers a variety of tasty options. Decent value for money. Overall a very good stay."
"Even though their lockers for ski in, ski out was down a set of stairs, once you store your items, it was within easy reach of a ski lift. The hotel itself is a bit dated but totally made up for by the convenient amenities and super friendly and helpful staff. The store inside had good selection of basics. While no microwave in the room, they had one in the lobby you can use. Booked a room with private onsen and the view of Mt Yotei was gorgeous! "
"The room was spotless and spacious. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The hotel offered many amenities, including a shuttle to and from the mountain, arranging a ride to the airport, ski lockers and complimentary food upon arrival. Will absolutely book here again for our next holiday! "
"Still fairly new. Staff helpful but the front desk gets pretty busy at times. The restaurant seems better than it was a year ago when we first stayed there. We were upgraded to a room with club lounge access, which was nice. The best thing about this hotel is that it is a short walk (across the street) from the ski slopes and lesson center/rentals. Parking is not guaranteed but generally available. Room are Japanese, so smallish, but nice tub with hot water from a natural spring. "
"Room was spotless, staff was very friendly and helpful.
Love the holiday gift drinks and snacks, and the Lunar New Year celebration
Love the onsen
Love the 24/7 wine vending machine
Love the ski locker room
Love the shuttle up the hill so you don't have to walk. Love the easy access to the ski mountain by foot or shuttle.
Love the view of Mt Yotei from the room
Love the robes in the room
Love the daily cleaning so trash in the room doesn't linger
Love the recyclable water bottles
Breakfast buffet runs out of food before breakfast service is over, and breakfast area is super crowded and packed most of the morning"
"Nice place.
The owners are great. Super nice. Super helpful.
The surly young staff are unprofessional and need an attitude adjustment.
Overall though, very good."
"The most amazing stay on the slopes !! Everything was perfect - baby amenities :), room, food, view, skiing !! We will be back for sure. ありがとうございまし!⛄️"
