Aya Sophia was a perfect add on to our south beach stay when visiting Dar. Visiting the animals was a perfect way for our kids to see them without the crazy prices of a safari park (as a foreigner). Great rooms, gardens and the restaurant food (we ate curry) was also excellent

Outstandingly peaceful, true to name (Amani = peace). Stunning beach. Lovely chalets. Perfect pool. Fabulous fruity breakfast. The rooms where perfect and the personale - especially Zawadi was fantastic. She helped me with lots of different stuff and all staff, chef and general manager did a fantastic job for us all. Would definitely recommend the place.
