Nice Hotel

Our flight arrived late so we stayed here for only one night for convenience. The rooms were clean and the staff were very courteous. We had a lovely breakfast before heading out to Ubud. The property had a lovely pool but we didn’t use it. Our adult children went to the store to get some snacks when we arrived. They felt very unsafe when walking in the area but this is not the hotels fault.

We were only here for 1 night before flying home. Good central location. Did allow us a late check out, but charged well for it! Pleasant staff and good breakfast. One thing to warn anyone about is the swimming pool. It was lovely and clean with nice seating round it. However, the steps around it and the seats at the pool bar have very sharp edges and points. My adult son cut his foot quite deeply just catching the edge as he swam. I say this as more of a warning than a complaint.

The Niche Hotel is right in the heart of Kuta. The location is great, with easy access to the beach (approx. 10 min walk), shops, restaurants, and bars/clubs. Despite being so central, the rooms are very quiet. If you don't feel like venturing far, there are several convenience stores within 1-3 minutes walk. Room was nice, clean, and a good size. Shower was warm with great water pressure. Wi-Fi was good - could even stream Netflix with no issues. To my surprise - my room even had a built-in Australian electricity socket! The hotel at the pool is a nice size and quite refreshing all day long. Of note is that it has railed stairs entering into the pool - which seems quite rare in Bali. (This was very important to me as I clumsily injured my foot on my last holiday trying to heave myself out of a pool.) It also has lots of underwater ledges to relax on and even a pool bar open for service all day. The food at the hotel itself is quite nice and reasonably priced. There were always lots of staff around happy to help with anything. Overall, would highly recommend. Was very happy with my stay.

Great spot to stay in the middle of Legian and Kuta. Set back down an alley way off Jl Legian, it is a very quiet area and you don’t hear the street noise. Pool has a swim up bar and wonderful place to have a drink and relax after a busy day doing touristy things. 2nd time we’ve stayed here and definitely will again

Only concern was lots of young people stayed in the pool drinking for hours not getting out to go to the toilet and glass used at pool not plastic for cocktail drinks. Never saw the pool being cleaned after these big sessions, but overall 9/10
