"It’s about a 15 mins walk to the hotel. The external and internal are fine. But the MOO fish men market is outdated and few stalls open. A good one over night stay for catching a early coach to Lake Akan tomorrow."

7 Oct 2019Not much in Kushiro itself. Its main interest are the marshes and the opportunity to see cranes, but you need to go during winter for that when they flock to the feeding sites. The marshland and countryside are very pretty.
