"It was as if taking a step back in time. Drifting off to sleep in a dark room with the snow falling through the positioned sliding windows as to not see any of the surrounding modern day buildings, was a marvellous experience that I shall treasure forever. Great amenities, a karoke room, natural onsens, a library and not to mention both a wonderful supper and breakfast, not to mention buffet style. My only regret is not booking another night! "Got a 3 person japanesse style room. It was good, the hotel's sauna is very simple, so i recomend also exploring other saunas in the city, the room was good. "

"It has a shuttle service from the Sendai station to the hotel. Great view from room and Onsen. The decor is slightly dated but in good shape. I would visit again!"

"Very lovely older small onsen. Japanese style room was lovely. Futon was a bit old, thin, and firm, far from my first but noticable. Make sure to book dinner, its a walk to other options. Onsen was lovely."

"Average. Outdoor swimming pool opens 10 - 6, so it has already closed before most people check in, and opens after they have checked out. Room is too dim. Not enough lightings. Far darker than antique and classic style. Create an ageing and unpleasant atmosphere."

"Absolutely over the top 3 day stay at this ryokan. We opted for meals inclusive and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of food. The staff was amazingly attentive! Please consider a pickup at Shinjo station, we took a cab, there is a public bus but it was a two hour wait and we had luggage. Can arrange for luggage storage at Shinjo station? When train service is restored from Shinjo to semi onsen station perhaps that will be a viable option. Yumeminoyado will pick up at Semi onsen station with prior notice. Email communications with the hotel was responsive also, appreciated that! Overall a fantastic stay, highly recommend! "

"Overall the property was good, especially for the price. The only downside was the parking was supposed to be free but I was told the garage was full and that i couldnt park there. However, i saw several open spots, but they still did not let me park there. Instead i had to pay for parking that the hotel would not reimburse. Other than the false information about free parking the hotel was what we expected."
