The pictures are not the same as what you see when you arrive. The pictures are very deceptive. The room and bathroom were filthy. I do not recommend this property

Inhumane! Very disappointing, the pictures are a scam, the rooms don't look like the pictures they have uploaded here on Expedia. The hotel took so long to refund us the money had to contact Expedia for that. We immediately looked for another accommodation.

There was no wifi available at the site. Breakfast was good . Room was clean and tidy but please verify how often they come clean the rooms if you going to stay there more than a night. Its noisy around the area. Churches and night club noise comes in the room

Hard to find and a little disappointing

There was a problem with the power so the light and air conditioner were up and down all night which made the air conditioner very noisy. And when I checked the filters in the air conditioner due to the for performance they were full of dust when I cleaned them out it helped it cool the room.

Hidden Treasure in Kaase

Okumah hotel was the nicest hotel I stayed in during my time in Ghana even though I paid 4x the price for a hotel in Accra, so you can't beat the value. Only built 18 months ago the rooms are in great shape by Ghanaian standards and very comfortable. The only thing to note is that the hotels.com listing describes each room as having a kitchen and this is incorrect. The room did have a fridge, closet, flatscreen tv, desk, ac, and a comfy bed. Not much of a view as the hotel is nestled in a suburb. One window overlooked the inner courtyard of the hotel and the other a neighbors fence. One downside might be that there did not seem to be a parking lot of any sort and taxis would have to drop off/pick up on the road outside the hotel gate. Speaking of taxis, if traveling to Okumah Hotel by taxi, mention that the hotel is located next to the Guiness Brewery, otherwise it will be very hard to find. The staff were very accommodating, friendly, and helpful, I was very impressed. Unfortunately the wifi was down during my entire 4 night stay but I believe it was a Vodaphone issue, and not a hotel issue. Definitely would recommend the hotel.
