"We stayed in the suite for 2 weeks and it was a wonderful jumping off point for Tuscany. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.The breakfast options were also great. Volterra is a sizable town and on the tourist trail for people coming in from Florence for sure, but we still had no trouble getting restaurant reservations and things were much more quiet in the evenings."

"The Hotel Villa Rioddi was one of the very best places I've ever stayed. "Really nice scenic view to Volterra, typical oil trees and fields around. Calm and relaxed evironment, ideal for longwalks and relaxation. Pool is also enjoyable even in October. Room was nice and clean, wifi working well. Restaurant was excellent, the wild boar dishes can recommend! Staff friendly and helpful. Washing clothes was also possible so if you are mid trip or longer staying that is also an advantage. Enjoyed our stay there!"

"The staff were very friendly and informative, food was great, their own produce was great and the views were amazing. I would love to return in warmer weather when the pool is open. The only downside was being charged €50 cleaning fee. I missed it in the small print when booking.
