Highly recommend Mjejane, everyone was so friendly and welcoming, the food was excellent, it's very clean, and Gilmon in particular made the game drives so much fun each time. We would go back there anytime!
(!) 2,5 Std
Preis-Leistung in Summe miserabel
The Nature Reserve is fantastic, there ks an abundance of game. The Game Rangers do an exceptionally good job in locating the animals. The Lodge is situated on the Crocodile River and has a stunning location . The only downfall would be, that the rooms are slightly dated and need to be cleaned a bit better.
Our stay was good. The only negative thing is we were expecting a double bed and were given twin beds. We were later told we should have requested a double bed. We were not given an option to make a choice and we assumed as a couple that is what we will be given.
Friendly service. Very nice setting and view to the Crocodile River and lot of elephant and hippo’s to enjoy.
I think the dining room and reception area need a revamp.
Was nice to eat outside when the weather was okay. Food was very tasty
In the room everything was nice and clean.
Just make sure that you update the camp Managers contact details in the rooms. The number that is still there belongs to manager of two years ago.
Great place to stay when visiting Krugar National Park in South Africa. Rate given included breakfast lunch and dinner, each day as well as 2 game drives (safari), each day. One in Krigar, and one on the reserve property. And you don't need to pay national park fee to visit Krigar on their game drive.
On May 11, 2019, during the dinner served closer to the pool, between 7pm e 8.30pm, someone has entered our room, number 17, and has stolen 850 USD, 100 EUR and 1200 Rands. When we opened the door of the compartment where the safe box was located, it was wide open and we could see that there were subtracted the cited amounts of money. It was late when we figured out what happened and for our surprise there wasn't anyone responsible for the lodge at that time. The following day, when we reported what happened the new manager Michael told us he would handle it personally and asked us two more times to recount the money, and then he also asked us to write a statement/testimony (attached) about what had happened and we did it. And he said that he had reported the incident to the head office in Johannesburg and that they would start an internal investigation to discover who could have done that. Today, more than 20 days after, we are still waiting a response from the head office after several emails sent demanding a solution for that situation. Only memories of the nightmare lived there and the huge loss left. It is unbelievable that they claim a title of Luxury Lodge when something unbelievable like that happens and they have no respect for their guests. My only advice is to avoid it!!! You definitely won't get what you paid for and can also leave with a terrible loss like we did. Avoid it!!!

Nice place
Mjejane is a nice place to stay, clean room with a good view. They also have great game drives inside their facility and out to Kruger Park. I would recommend to go on both game drives. They have great tour guides like December who was very helpful and informative.
Bom hotel, bem estruturado. Fica do lado externo do Kruger Park.
A friend and I came here for Kruger safari. We didn't realize Mjejane was its own private game reserve. Initially we were hoping to go to Kruger (which we did), but we were actually happier with the experience on the reserve. We saw more wildlife than in Kruger, since there was only so much ground we could cover. All the staff were super friendly, so we were happy with the experience.
The only issue was that on arrival, the lodge knew NOTHING of our reservation. Fortunately, we had the voucher from yourselves and there was availability at the lodge. Had there been no availability, this would have been a disaster. I think you guys need to follow up on this as I doubt whether I would confidently use your service again.
