My wife and I visited Bonaire on our first trip to Bonaire. The hotel was conveniently located two blocks from our dive shop/shore. We arrived after hours (in Bonaire, that means after 10 pm), so the hotel crew contracted a taxi to pick us up and give us the room key. There was no housekeeping, but typically my wife and I request no housekeeping on a daily basis at a regular hotel anyway, so that was perfect for us (someone did come in halfway through our 5 day stay to clean, though). We will gladly stay at the Dive Hut again on our next trip to Bonaire!!
We got a studio with kitchen and it was a good sized room and clean. It's conveniently located near a dive shop across the street with great shore diving. Would definitely recommend The Dive Hut to anyone looking for a place to stay in Bonaire.
The Dive Hut is really set up well for divers as they have a dive gear storage and wash stations! Additionally they are really helpful in arranging great deals on dive equipment and car rental!
This hotel was exactly as promised and exactly what we wanted. If you want a fancy place where you are waited on hand and foot, go somewhere else, this is not the hotel you are looking for. BUT, it you want a comfortable, simple place to sleep and relax between diving and other activities, this is the place for you!

Our stay at DiveHut
This hotel is great for those who are on budget. The location is great, close to alot of places. Mattress is too tough to sleep good, and sometimes, while in shower, water in will stop up for a few minutes then running back on.
As a married couple looking for a week of simple relaxation, low-key tourism, diving, snorkeling and treating ourselves to the best of local dining, the Dive Hut and Irene and the Hut gang hit the spot. Location was great - easy walk into town and back at all hours. Easy walk to Gooodive and Wannadive. Room was simple, but roomy and comfortable. Bring some bug spray if you like to sit outside to read in the evening - the local mosquitoes liked one of us. Staff was super helpful with local advice. Apart from New Year's fireworks and noisemakers, very quiet. Wifi not great - but vacations are better with books and company :) We would stay at the Hut again!
Very comfortable bed and breakfast type of hotel in Bonaire, away from the beaten tourist path, private and quiet, owners very much tuned to their guests' needs. Loved the location, close to everything yet totally private street away from the hubbub. Food delicious for breakfast, nice menu. Owner favored wood décor and the carpentry was beautifully done and gives a warm welcome to the guests.

Good value for budget accommodations. Only about 15 minute walk to center of town.
The staff is very friendly and helpfull. The only thing is that they are at the hotel only in work hours and give a cel phone number (for WhatsApp messages as well) in case you need to contact them but, anyways, don't usually reply.

It’s a decent and basic lodging. The room was small with a hard mattress bed, small shower.
If you have problem walking or carrying your luggage, don’t take an upstairs room. The staircase is rickety with uneven steps.

Good value for the price.
Small and very focused on dive tourists that do not spend a lot of time at the hotel itself. Considering the price, the place is a pretty good value. Rooms are simple but comfortable, and the staff is very friendly and flexible. Changing the duration of my stay was done in less than 3 minutes.
This is a scuba diving hotel that is a great bargain in a convenient location, easy walking distance to dive shops, restaurants and the dive side of the island. They have an equipment storage room, bar and breakfast cafe and nice outdoor lounging area. For the price and genuine friendliness it was a great choice.
Perfect location diving with Dive Friends Bonaire!
Lovely, quiet location just a couple of blocks from Dive Friends Bonaire's Yellow Submarine shop. Dive Hut has modest accommodations with a very friendly, helpful staff. It's an easy-going, comfortable and very relaxing atmosphere.
Adorei e recomendo. Equipe muito prestativa. Tive problemas com voo que foi cancelado e recebi toda ajuda deles. Café da manhã, que não está incluído na diária, é muito bom.
If your looking for something fancy with constant towel and bed service look elsewhere otherwise the accommodations were very suitable for the needs. I had a week planned to do nothing but diving and exploring the island and it lived up to my expectations perfectly.

good economical place
thank you to fellow reviewers who prepared us for what we signed up for. because of previous reviews we knew to bring our own toiletries as they don't supply any, and we knew there was no housekeeping service. However, this point gets a bit "interesting" by the end of a week....it would definitely make the stay a bit more enjoyable if they could clean the floor and change the sheets(it is a hot climate) even once during the week. OR provide a broom so you could do it yourself. Derrick was awesome (friendly and helpful) just one tip - please TELL people how to turn the hot water on :)...Location was awesome, quiet; slept like a ROCK! the Thursday night BBQ was FABULOUS and we loved the outdoor space were we could have breakfast.
I enjoyed my stay, it was a good value for the price, however I like to drink my own coffee and teas and make my own food, so next time I would elect to stay in a more expensive room that comes with a kitchen. A/c was really good. The best thing about this hotel is price and the social atmosphere. There were a lot of solo travelers and friendly people. Hotel staff could be a little more friendly/look like they like their jobs but maybe it's a dutch thing idk

Great staff. Very customer focused.
Rooms are clean, but on the older side. Good location. Just one block from the ocean. Prices are lower than resorts located on the ocean.
Yes the room was as I saw on the net. The bathroom however has a window opposite a house near by about 20 ft away .the window had no curtains and I couldn't shower with the lights on or during the day I had to stoop a bit or the people next door could have seen me clearly from chest up because I'm tall.
There were no soaps or anything of that sort here I had to take out my own garage to the bin at the front of the hotel I was there 6 days no one cleaned the room nor changed the sheets. On the third day I had to go ask for bathroom tissue which I got then the next day a lady knocked on the door and brought more towels.that's it no frills nothing.I definitely won't recommend nor stay again .besides the people who run this hotel are the only people in the entire Bonaire I interacted with who I didn't feel any friendliness from.
De kamermuren zaten vol met gaten, alles was een beetje stuk, het raam kon niet op slot voor de nacht. Er is na 20 uur geen personeel meer. Personeel is wel aardig.
