Nous avons beaucoup aimé le onsen ainsi que les repas. Présentation impeccable des plats. La participation à la prière du matin a été un moment marquant de notre voyage au Japon.
One of the old temples offering accommodation in koyasan.
From Koyasan Station, get on bus 3 and alight at bus stop 20. The stop is next to the temple.
On the west side of Koyasan, this temple is excellent. We walked everywhere from the temple, even though it’s on the west side of Koyasan.
The rooms are well appointed. Futons and blankets are offered. You are expected to make your own bed, but towels are changed everyday.
I spent 3 nights here with friends and it was enjoyable and pleasant.
You are welcome to attend morning prayers at 6.30am ( I didn’t attend)
They offer breakfast and dinner, but this must be booked with the accommodation, you can not book when you arrive.
I would recommend you visit a local sushi restaurant around the corner ( the best sushi we’ve had) it’s called Yoshi Sushi in tripadvisor.
The temple has Beautiful gardens, but the star is the onsen and the massage chair next to it.
Have a wonderful stay.
Very nice location, with friendly and helpful employees and monks in this old graceful temple - participation in the morning prayer 2 moornings was a very big and beautiful experience
