"This is an older but well maintained hotel. Really the only things showing their age were the elevators and the air conditioning units. The room was very clean with no smell, and the beds were extremely comfortable. No noise issues even though the hotel is downtown. The breakfast buffet and made to order omelets are well above average. They would be pricey if bought a la carte, I got a deal when adding them to the room ahead of time, making it very worth it."

"The hotel is fun and has a great vibe. The room was clean and bed comfortable. There were a couple of things that didnโt work for us. First the room is really small. There is no closet and the sink for the bathroom is in the room. There isnโt room to lay out two suitcasesโฆmaybe one. But there also isnโt any place to unpack and store your stuff except for the pegs on the wall. The other thing was the back and side wall of the shower are frosted glass and are what divides the bathroom from the room. This is a problem if someone wants to get up early and take a showerโฆ when the light comes on in the bathroom it lights up the whole room!"

"The resort was beautiful! The grounds were well kept. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a complimentary coffee bar in the mornings. I didn't eat in the restaurant, so I can't comment. I don't have any complaints. I will stay there whenever I am in Asheville."
