"Paradisus was a solid 4 star resort with 5 star service and staff. The staff were incredibly warm, friendly and wanted to make sure everyone was having a great vacation. We upgraded to the Reserve which was worth it for the included airport transfer, top notch steak restaurant included, ocean view room and extra restaurant for breakfast/lunch. The separate pool and quieter section was a nice option too. The Japanese restaurant and Mediterranean restaurant were both excellent with amazing waiters and hostesses. The rooms were plain and a little dated but full of snacks, waters, beer and soda all day long. No dumb towel cards needed or restrictions on drinks. Few things that could be improved - buffet breakfast was not great, no elevators so be ready to climb 2-3 flights of stairs multiple times a day, and no hot tub. Pool area could use some paint/renovation and the rooms could use better sheets/blankets. We would go back for the ease of being next to a gorgeous beach with daily whale sightings, good food and drinks and the amazing staff. "
