Super nice place to stay, the room was super. - a very good experience in every way. Had a super dinner in the restaurant and the breakfast was very nice too. The only thing you have to be prepared for is the walk very much uphill from the parking to the hotel with luggage - could be difficult if you have problems lifting or walking on uneven ground.

Great place

We arrived in the evening around the time19:30. It was a very warm welcome. The dinner was excellent. The service and atmosphere was great. The room was really good. Old and modern style. The shower was fantastic and high pressure. The area speaks for it self. There is so much information everywhere for your enjoyment

I would have preferred if you had told me that you were doing construction everywhere before I booked TWO rooms for 4 adults. Noisy flapping white tarps and ZERO views from any of the windows of BOTH rooms I rented.

Too many faults

Horribly warm room. No AC. Windows not supposed to be opened. Reception lent us a fan that did very little to help. Hardly slept at all. The bathroom/toilet was inside a frosted glass cube, which meant that privacy was not optimal. Also if you had to use the bathroom at night the whole hotel room was lit up and therefore woke your partner. The toilet didn’t seem to be designed for human anatomy. The seat was too narrow and the top lid had a deep edge that cut into your back if you tried to lean back.

Semester i Norge

Ett annorlunda hotell beläget i en gammal borg! Man kan verkligen känna historiens vingslag! Mycket trevlig personal, god mat och dryck. Rummet var väldigt litet med skador på väggarna, men rent och snyggt. Vi hade problem med att hitta parkering, reception och hotell. Borde vara bättre skyltat och mer information i bokningsbekräftelsen.

Das Zimmer war ganz wunderbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Tolles Erlebnis auf der Burg. Total nettes Personal. Das Frühstück ist definitiv verbesserungswürdig. Bei Gelegenheit kommen wir aber gerne wieder.
